This VI computes the average of 2^N 16-bit integer (I16) numbers, and outputs the result. When the result is computed, Data Valid is set to 'True'. For example, if N = 5, this VI will average 32 16-bit integer numbers, return the result and set Data Valid as 'True'. A Reset boolean is also provided to reset the FPGA VI. When Reset is set as True, all feedback nodes are set to '0', Output is set to '0' and Data Valid is kept at 'False'.
Other requirements:
LabVIEW FPGA enabled hardware, such as CompactRIO or an R Series data acquisition device.
